WordPress Developer

We're a digital marketing agency managing multiple client websites on WordPress — some in active development, some in maintenance, and some needing ongoing feature builds. We need a developer who can handle all three modes without needing a separate person for each.

What that looks like in practice:

1. Active builds — taking designs from Figma or written briefs and building them cleanly in WordPress. Custom themes, Elementor builds, ACF setups, and custom post types where needed.
2. Ongoing maintenance — plugin updates, security patches, backups, uptime monitoring, and fixing what breaks before the client notices.
3. Feature additions — WooCommerce integrations, form builds, membership areas, speed optimization, and third-party tool embeds on existing sites.

Our clients are split across the US and EU so you need overlap with both regions for deployment windows and the occasional urgent fix.

Must-haves:

• Solid WordPress development experience — themes, plugins, custom builds, not just visual editors
• Competent HTML/CSS — able to fix layout issues without touching a page builder
• Experience managing multiple client sites simultaneously without things breaking
• Fluent English — you'll occasionally be on calls with the internal team and clients
