Video Editor (Short-Form | Motion Graphics | FinTech Style)

We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor who can create high-quality, engaging short-form videos with a strong focus on motion graphics and storytelling.

You’ll be working on vertical content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) designed to simplify complex topics into clear, visually engaging videos.

This role is perfect for someone who understands how to combine editing, motion design, and pacing to create content that is both educational and highly engaging.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form vertical videos (9:16) for social media platforms
• Create clean, modern, and professional edits with a FinTech-style aesthetic
• Incorporate motion graphics, text animations, and visual storytelling elements
• Add dynamic captions (karaoke-style or highlighted text) synced with audio
• Use high-quality icons, vector elements, and graphic-based visuals (not stock-heavy)
• Apply smooth transitions, jump cuts, and pacing techniques to maintain viewer engagement
• Enhance videos with sound design (background music + subtle SFX)
• Collaborate on creative direction and bring ideas to improve clarity and engagement

Requirements

• Proven experience editing short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Strong skills in motion graphics and animation (After Effects preferred)
• Ability to create clean, modern, and minimalist visual styles
• Experience with dynamic captions and text-based editing styles
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention
• Experience using vector icons, infographics, and visual explainers
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured creative direction
• Good understanding of sound design and audio syncing

Nice to Have

• Experience editing content in finance, business, or educational niches
• Familiarity with FinTech-style branding and design
• Ability to create or customize simple 2D animations
• Experience working with content creators or startups
