Job Description
I create lifestyle and tech content for TikTok and Instagram - currently sitting at 850K and 420K followers respectively, and we are scaling fast. I am filming 15-20 pieces of content per week and need an editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form videos that actually perform.
You will be editing TikToks, Reels, and YouTube Shorts daily. Fast cuts, trending sounds, text overlays, transitions - you know the formula. But here is the twist: I am also incorporating AI-generated video content using Sora and Veo into my videos to stay ahead of trends, so you need to know how to work with AI video tools and blend them seamlessly into real footage.
What you will be editing:
→ TikToks & Reels (15-60 seconds) - daily output, fast turnaround
→ YouTube Shorts - slightly longer format, same punchy style
→ Thumbnail designs for YouTube and other platforms
→ AI-generated sequences using Sora and Veo mixed with real footage
→ B-roll integration, motion graphics, text animations
→ Color grading and audio cleanup to keep everything looking professional
The vibe: High energy, fast-paced, trend-aware. If it is popping off on the For You Page, you already know the editing style before I even explain it.
Tools you will use:
You need to be fast in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci - whatever gets the job done quickest. After Effects for motion graphics. Experience with Sora and Veo for AI video generation is a must. You should also be able to design eye-catching thumbnails that get clicks.
