Spanish Accountant

We are looking for a Spanish Accounting Specialist with strong, hands-on experience in Spanish accounting practices. This role is ideal for someone who has managed full-cycle accounting across different companies and is confident handling year-end processes independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for companies operating under Spanish regulations
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping in compliance with Spanish accounting standards
• Handle year-end closing processes (preparation, adjustments, and reporting)
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with local requirements
• Support preparation and submission of financial statements

Core Requirements (Must-Have)

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Spanish accounting
• Proven experience managing full accounting cycles across different industries
• Strong experience with year-end closing processes
• Solid background in day-to-day bookkeeping under Spanish regulations
• Practical, real-world accounting experience (this is prioritized over theory)
• Fluent or native Spanish speaker
• Experience with: Legalization of accounting books
• Filing Annual Accounts with the Mercantile Registry (Registro Mercantil)
• Familiarity with accounting tools such as A3 / A3SOC (or similar software)
