Run the daily operations of a growing eco-conscious brand
We are a business founded by a solo entrepreneur, running a successful online store for thoughtfully designed, eco-friendly home goods. Our products are sold exclusively through Shopify to a dedicated customer base that values quality and sustainability. As we grow, we need a dedicated remote assistant to own the day-to-day operations of the store and be the friendly voice for our customers.
Your mission: keep our store running smoothly
You will be the operational backbone of our e-commerce business, handling everything from orders to inquiries.
- Manage the Shopify admin: process orders, update inventory, and fulfill shipments in coordination with our warehouse.
- Be the first point of contact for all customer inquiries via email and live chat, providing helpful, timely, and brand-aligned support.
- Monitor customer reviews and feedback, flagging any issues and helping to maintain our five-star reputation.
- Optimize product listings with new images, descriptions, and keywords to improve visibility and conversion.
- Prepare basic weekly reports on sales, best-selling products, and customer service metrics.
- Coordinate with the founder on new product launches, ensuring all storefront elements are ready and accurate.
What you bring to the table
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented doer who loves systems and helping people.
- Hands-on experience managing a Shopify store: you know the admin panel, order workflow, and basic settings.
- Excellent written English for clear, warm, and professional customer communication.
- A strong sense of organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks like orders, emails, and inventory without letting anything slip.
- An eye for detail to catch errors in listings or orders before they become problems.
- A proactive mindset—you suggest small improvements to processes and are excited to help a small brand grow.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets is a plus.
