Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to support the ongoing improvement and maintenance of our ecommerce website. This is a remote, part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving user experiences, and building reliable, scalable solutions.
The role will involve troubleshooting existing issues, implementing new functionality, and making front-end enhancements while ensuring site stability and performance. You'll work closely with our team to deliver improvements that align with both business goals and customer experience standards.
What You'll Do
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve website bugs and technical issues
- Implement new features and functionality within the Shopify platform
- Improve front-end experiences while maintaining responsive design standards
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Test updates thoroughly to ensure existing functionality remains intact
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on design and user experience improvements
You should be comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks, communicating progress clearly, and delivering high-quality work within agreed timelines.
What We're Looking For
Strong experience with Shopify development is essential, including hands-on work with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You should be confident debugging issues, optimizing code, and implementing solutions that are both scalable and easy to maintain.
Attention to detail matters in this role. We're looking for someone who can identify potential conflicts before deployment, maintain code quality, and contribute to a smooth user experience across devices.
Experience with website performance optimization, conversion-focused improvements, or UX/UI design principles would be a valuable bonus, but is not required.
This is a flexible remote position suited to a developer who values clean code, dependable execution, and continuous improvement. When applying, please include examples of relevant ecommerce or Shopify projects you've worked on, along with details of your experience and availability.
