Job Description

Fast-growing DTC brand on Shopify Plus — multiple storefronts, high traffic, and a conversion rate that needs work. The dev side of the store has been maintained reactively rather than proactively, and there's a backlog of improvements waiting for someone who actually knows Shopify well.

The Shopify Developer will own the technical side of the storefront — theme development, custom functionality, app integrations, and performance optimization.

  • Building and customizing Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Developing custom sections, blocks, and metafield-driven templates in Shopify 2.0
  • Integrating third-party apps and APIs — reviews, loyalty programs, subscription tools, and analytics
  • Optimizing storefront performance — page speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile experience
  • Supporting CRO initiatives by implementing A/B test variants and tracking instrumentation
  • Maintaining code quality and documentation across multiple storefronts

Portfolio or GitHub with live Shopify work required. Experience with Shopify Plus and headless/hydrogen is a plus but not required.
