Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Google Ads professional to help manage, optimize, and scale lead generation campaigns for service-based businesses.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that successful advertising is measured by business outcomes, not vanity metrics. The ideal candidate knows how to generate qualified leads, improve conversion quality, and maximize return on ad spend through strategic campaign management and data-driven decision-making.

You'll initially manage a small portfolio of accounts, with opportunities to take on additional responsibility as performance and results are demonstrated.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for overseeing lead generation campaigns from strategy through optimization. This includes evaluating performance data, identifying inefficiencies, improving lead quality, and recommending changes that drive measurable business results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and optimizing search-focused advertising campaigns
  • Conducting keyword research and analyzing customer search behavior
  • Creating campaign structures aligned with services, locations, and buyer intent
  • Developing and testing ad copy to attract qualified prospects
  • Managing negative keyword strategies to reduce wasted spend
  • Monitoring search terms and uncovering new opportunities
  • Optimizing bidding strategies based on available data and campaign maturity
  • Improving conversion rates, cost efficiency, and lead quality
  • Setting up and troubleshooting conversion tracking systems
  • Providing landing page recommendations to improve campaign performance
  • Delivering regular performance reports and actionable recommendations

You'll also be expected to stay current with platform updates, automation features, audience targeting capabilities, and evolving best practices within paid search advertising.

Required Experience

We're looking for someone with significant hands-on experience managing lead generation campaigns and making strategic decisions independently.

You should have:

  • At least 5 years of paid search advertising experience
  • A proven track record managing lead generation campaigns
  • Strong expertise in campaign structure, keyword strategy, search intent, and optimization
  • Experience with automated and AI-assisted campaign types
  • A solid understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and analytics
  • Experience working with tag management and analytics platforms
  • The ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience working with local or service-based businesses is highly valued, as is familiarity with additional paid advertising platforms.
