Build the Engine for AI-Powered Video Creation

We are a venture-backed startup building a next-generation SaaS platform that allows users to generate professional videos using AI. As a foundational Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will architect and build the core web application that connects users to powerful AI models, manages complex media pipelines, and delivers a seamless, scalable experience.

Technical Architecture & Development

You will own major parts of our product and infrastructure.

• Design, develop, and maintain the full-stack web application, from the React/TypeScript frontend to the Node.js/Python backend and PostgreSQL database.
• Build and optimize integrations with third-party AI video APIs (e.g., RunwayML, OpenAI) and cloud services (AWS, GCP) for media processing, storage, and streaming.
• Implement robust user authentication, subscription billing logic, and project management features.
• Architect systems for handling asynchronous, long-running video generation jobs with progress tracking and error handling.
• Ensure the application is performant, secure, and scalable to support a growing user base and large media files.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to turn complex AI capabilities into intuitive user workflows.

Required Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience with a proven track record in SaaS or complex web applications.
• Deep proficiency in our modern stack: React/Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience building and integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Experience with video/audio processing or AI service APIs is a significant plus.
• Strong understanding of system design, database optimization, and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
