React Native Developer

A Series A startup building a cross-platform mobile app with a growing user base and an active feature roadmap. The app is live on iOS and Android, built in React Native, and the team ships on a consistent weekly cadence. We need a developer who can take real ownership of feature development — not just close tickets.

1. Build new product features in React Native from design specs to production-ready code, working across iOS and Android simultaneously
2. Maintain and improve the existing codebase — addressing technical debt, improving test coverage, and refactoring components where the architecture isn't holding up
3. Integrate backend APIs and third-party services — payments, authentication, push notifications, and analytics SDKs
4. Implement UI components that match design specs precisely and perform smoothly on both platforms without compromise
5. Participate in architecture decisions and code reviews as the product and team scale
6. Monitor crash reports and performance metrics — catching and resolving issues before they become widespread user problems

What we need from you

• 3+ years of React Native development with apps live on both App Store and Google Play — links or app names required with your application
• Strong understanding of React Native internals — performance optimization, native modules, and platform-specific behavior
• TypeScript proficiency — the codebase is fully typed
• EU timezone for daily standups and collaboration with product and design
