Job Description
I’m looking for a solid Property Management VA to help me manage my portfolio without losing my mind.
Right now, I’m spending half my day answering the same questions about my rental listings and chasing down late rent. I need someone to take over the "front lines" so I can focus on finding new properties. You’ll be the one posting our available units on Zillow and Facebook Marketplace, replying to messages from interested tenants, and screening them to make sure they actually qualify before I waste time showing them the place.
Once a tenant moves in, you’ll be the main point of contact for the "daily noise." If a pipe bursts or a light goes out, they’ll message you, and you’ll coordinate with my local handymen to get it fixed. You’ll also keep an eye on our portal to see who has paid and send out polite but firm reminders to anyone who’s running late. You’ll also help me keep the files organized—making sure we have signed leases and updated insurance for every unit.
I’m looking for someone who is calm, professional, and doesn’t get rattled by a grumpy tenant. We use AppFolio to keep track of everything, so if you already know your way around those systems, you’ll be at the top of my list. This is a long-term role for someone who is looking for a stable, 40 hour a week position with a small, growing team.
