Job Description
We're a SaaS company with a live product, a paying customer base, and a development team that needs clearer direction. Features have been getting built reactively — based on whoever asked loudest, not on a coherent strategy. We need an experienced Product Manager who can bring structure to how we build, prioritize ruthlessly, and own the roadmap end to end.
This is a senior role. We're not looking for someone who will learn product management here — we need someone who has done this before across multiple product cycles and can come in and run the process immediately. You'll work directly with the founders, engineering team, and customer-facing teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the product roadmap — prioritizing based on customer data, business impact, and engineering capacity, not internal pressure
- Write clear, detailed product specs and user stories that give engineering what they need without constant back-and-forth
- Run discovery — user interviews, usability sessions, analysis of support tickets and usage data — and translate findings into product decisions
- Work with the design team on UX decisions and review prototypes before they go to engineering
- Manage sprint planning and keep development moving without becoming a bottleneck
- Track post-release metrics and close the feedback loop — measure whether what shipped actually moved the needle
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience at a SaaS company — an extensive, demonstrable track record is required
- Proven history of owning a product roadmap and shipping features that measurably improved business metrics
- Strong written communication — your specs need to be clear enough that engineering doesn't need to ask follow-up questions
- Hands-on experience with Jira or Linear for sprint management
- US timezone required for daily collaboration with the engineering and design teams
