Job Description
We're building a podcast from scratch and need someone who's actually done this before — not someone who watched tutorials and thinks they can figure it out.
The show is in early stages, which means you're not inheriting someone else's mess. You'd help shape the whole operation — episode structure, audio quality, publishing cadence, short-form clips for social. That's the upside. The downside is it requires someone comfortable with ambiguity who doesn't need hand-holding to get moving.
A typical week involves editing raw recordings (sometimes rough ones), writing show notes, cutting audiograms or short clips, scheduling releases, and keeping everything on track. We publish consistently — no skipping weeks because something else came up.
What we need: real experience editing podcast audio, hands-on familiarity with Descript, Audition, or something comparable, and the ability to write show notes that don't sound robotic. If you've produced short-form video clips before — Reels, Shorts — even better.
You'll communicate directly with the host and occasionally coordinate with guests, so conversational English is required. Timezone is flexible as long as you're responsive during agreed overlap windows.
If you've produced podcasts and have episodes to show, that's your application. Send them.
