Part-Time Virtual Assistant (Long-Term / Online Education)

About the Role: An established English professor and online course provider is seeking an organized, reliable, part-time Virtual Assistant for a long-term collaborative relationship. The educational program has been running successfully for a year, and the assistant will play a key role in video production, course administration, and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Production: Edit long-form educational videos.
• Course Management: Build and structure course content within an online platform.
• Design & Layout: Create student handouts, presentation decks, and digital graphics.
• Research: Conduct research on various topics related to English language learning and culture.
• Administration: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks required to run an online educational business.
• Collaboration: Participate in two 30-minute synchronous alignment and training meetings per week via Zoom or Google Meet.

Required Qualifications:

• Video Editing: Proficient in editing long-form video content using professional software (e.g., Camtasia, Premiere Pro).
• Platform Experience: Direct experience building and managing course structures in Kajabi or a similar online course platform.
• Design Skills: Skilled in using Canva to design clean, professional handouts, graphics, and presentations.
• Research Abilities: Strong skills in gathering and organizing information on assigned topics.
• Work Integrity: Ability to complete all writing tasks independently without the use of generative AI tools. Clear, human communication is prioritized over flawless grammar; AI tool usage is restricted unless explicitly approved in advance.
• Language Proficiency: B1/B2 English level or higher, capable of reading and writing without the assistance of AI or automated translation software.
• Professional Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills, punctual, and highly dependable.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience creating motion graphics.
• Experience in English tutoring or instruction.
• Skills in editing short-form video content.
