Job Description

A US law firm handling civil cases is hiring a remote Paralegal to support its attorneys through the full lifecycle of a matter — from the first client intake call to filings with the court. We're looking for someone with genuine paralegal experience in US civil litigation who can carry real responsibility, not someone who needs every task spelled out.

Much of the work is documentation and organization done well. You'll draft and format legal documents — pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and standard motions — and prepare filings for submission through court e-filing systems, making sure every deadline and formatting rule is met. You'll build and maintain organized case files, keep documents indexed and accessible, and track important dates so nothing slips. On the front end, you'll handle client intake: gathering information, opening files, and getting new matters set up cleanly.

Alongside that, you'll keep clients and attorneys informed with clear, professional communication, and manage the steady flow of records, requests, and follow-ups that keep active cases moving.

For this role you'll need prior paralegal or legal assistant experience with a US firm, specifically in civil litigation, and real familiarity with e-filing procedures and court deadlines. Comfort with legal document drafting, case management software, and standard litigation workflows is essential, as is a sharp eye for detail — in this work, small errors have real consequences. Clear written and spoken English, discretion with confidential information, and a reliable, quiet remote setup round out the requirements. The schedule follows US business hours.

In your application, tell us about the US firms and civil case types you've supported, your hands-on experience with e-filing and document drafting, and any case management systems you've worked in.
