Mobile app QA tester

We are a small mobile app development studio creating productivity and utility applications. Quality is our top priority for user satisfaction. We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to systematically test our apps before each release, ensuring they are stable, intuitive, and bug-free for our global users.

You will execute detailed test plans for new features and regression tests for existing functionality on both iOS and Android devices. You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs clearly and reproducibly in our issue tracker (Jira/Linear). You will verify that fixed bugs have been resolved correctly and do not introduce new issues. You will also perform ad-hoc exploratory testing to find edge cases and usability problems that scripted tests might miss. You will collaborate with developers to clarify bug reports and confirm fixes.

Required: prior experience in software QA testing, preferably for mobile applications. Meticulous attention to detail and a patient, systematic approach to testing. Ability to write clear, concise, and actionable bug reports. Familiarity with issue tracking tools like Jira or Linear. Basic understanding of iOS and Android platforms. A proactive mindset to go beyond checklists and think like a user to find problems.
