Job Description

Insurance verification isn't just paperwork—it's the foundation of patient trust and practice sustainability. Every day, our team ensures that patients understand their coverage before they walk through our doors, preventing stressful financial surprises down the line.

Imagine this: A patient schedules a crucial procedure. Without proper verification, they might face unexpected bills, delayed treatments, or insurance denials. That's where you come in. You'll be the detective who uncovers exactly what their insurance covers, what they'll owe, and what authorizations are needed—all before treatment begins.

What your day looks like:

  • Morning: Review the day's patient schedule, prioritize urgent verifications
  • Mid-day: Contact insurance companies via phone and secure portals, navigating complex benefit structures
  • Afternoon: Document findings in our EHR system, flag any issues for clinical staff
  • Throughout: Answer patient questions about coverage in clear, compassionate language

Why this matters:

Last month alone, our verification team prevented $47,000 in claim denials simply by catching issues upfront. You won't just be checking boxes—you'll be solving puzzles that directly impact patient care and practice revenue.

Note: This role requires strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines. All verification work must maintain complete patient confidentiality.

We're looking for someone who sees beyond the codes and forms—someone who understands that accurate verification means patients can focus on healing, not worrying about bills.
