Medical billing specialist

We are a small medical practice seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist to manage our revenue cycle and ensure accurate, timely reimbursement.

You will be responsible for the complete billing process. This includes translating patient visits and procedures into accurate claims using correct CPT and ICD-10 codes, then submitting them electronically to various insurance payers. You will post payments, reconcile accounts, and diligently follow up on any denied or delayed claims to resolve discrepancies and secure payment.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in medical billing, with a solid understanding of insurance guidelines, claim forms (CMS-1500), and standard coding. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills for navigating claim denials, and the ability to communicate professionally with insurance representatives. Proficiency with billing software and the ability to work independently during US business hours are essential.
