Job Description
We are a medical billing company. After claims are submitted to insurance, many get stuck, delayed, or denied. We need a dedicated specialist to track them down and resolve the issues so our doctors get paid.
Your Core Task: Follow-Up
You will work from a daily list of unpaid insurance claims. Your job is to investigate each one. You will log into secure insurance portals to check their status and make calls to payer representatives to get answers. You will document exactly what needs to be fixed—a missing code, patient eligibility, or an error—so the claim can be corrected and resubmitted.
What You Need
You need experience in US medical billing. You must understand how to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and be comfortable using payer websites and making professional phone calls. This role requires patience, persistence, and meticulous attention to detail. You must work during US business hours to contact insurance companies.
