Job Description

We're an independent agency and need someone who understands the insurance world well enough to handle the administrative side without constant direction. You're not selling policies. You're making sure everything behind the sales process runs cleanly so producers can focus on clients.

What you'll handle:

  • Pulling quotes through carrier portals and the agency management system
  • Processing new business applications and policy change requests
  • Issuing certificates of insurance and following up on outstanding items
  • Managing the renewal pipeline — flagging upcoming renewals and preparing renewal packages
  • Maintaining accurate client records in the AMS and keeping files current
  • Following up with clients and carriers on pending documentation or decisions

Prior experience in an insurance agency is required — personal lines, commercial lines, or both. You need to know your way around an agency management system and understand basic policy terminology from day one.
