Job Description

Organizational Context:
We are an early-stage technology startup building distributed teams across multiple continents. As we scale our remote workforce, we require dedicated support to manage the administrative complexities of international hiring and employee lifecycle management.

Role Purpose:
The HR Operations Coordinator will provide essential support across the employee lifecycle, from initial recruitment coordination through onboarding and ongoing administrative support. This position serves as a critical operational function enabling our distributed team to function efficiently across time zones.

Core Functional Areas:

Recruitment Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple time zones
  • Manage candidate communication and application tracking
  • Assist with initial screening of applicant materials
  • Maintain recruitment documentation and candidate records

Onboarding Administration

  • Coordinate new hire documentation and compliance requirements
  • Facilitate equipment and access provisioning
  • Schedule orientation sessions and introductory meetings
  • Maintain onboarding checklists and progress tracking

HR Operations Support

  • Assist with employee record maintenance and updates
  • Support benefits administration coordination
  • Help organize virtual team events and engagement activities
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics as requested

Essential Competencies:

Technical Proficiency Experience with HRIS platforms, scheduling tools, and document management systems
Communication Skills Exceptional written communication for clear, professional correspondence across cultures
Organizational Ability Strong multitasking capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
Cultural Awareness Sensitivity to diverse working styles and international employment considerations

Operational Requirements:
This role supports a globally distributed team, requiring flexibility to occasionally accommodate meetings across different time zones. All work will be conducted remotely using company-provided collaboration tools and platforms.

Successful candidates will demonstrate both the technical capabilities to manage HR administrative systems and the interpersonal skills to support employees across diverse geographical and cultural contexts.
