Job Description

We're a 50+ person remote company that's growing fast and always hiring new roles. We need an HR Manager who can own the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding through performance management and culture building. You'll be the go-to person for everything people-related while keeping us compliant and organized across a distributed team.

This Role Handles:

Recruitment and hiring: Manage the full hiring process for multiple open roles at once. Write job descriptions, post on job boards, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews. Work with department leads to understand hiring needs and find the right people quickly.

Onboarding and offboarding:

  • Create and manage onboarding experiences for new hires remotely​
  • Ensure new employees have equipment, access, documentation, and training from day one​
  • Conduct exit interviews and handle offboarding procedures when people leave​

Employee relations and culture: Be the main point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflicts. Foster company culture in a fully remote environment through virtual events, communication, and engagement initiatives. Conduct regular check-ins and pulse surveys to gauge team morale and identify issues early.

Performance management:

  • Coordinate performance reviews and feedback cycles​
  • Support managers with performance conversations and development plans​
  • Track goals, promotions, and career progression​

HR operations and compliance: Maintain employee records, contracts, and documentation in organized systems. Ensure compliance with labor laws across different locations where our team works. Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, and time-off tracking. Create and update HR policies and employee handbook.
