Job Description
Have you managed Google Ads accounts where you weren't just making tweaks to what someone else built — where you actually designed the campaign structure, chose the bidding strategy, and can defend those decisions with data? Do you know the difference between a Search campaign that's working and one that looks like it's working because the attribution is set up wrong?
We're a performance-focused e-commerce brand running Search, Shopping, and Display campaigns. The current setup has been managed by a generalist — poor structure, bloated spend, and no real testing framework. We need a specialist who can rebuild it properly and own the channel going forward.
Responsibilities
- Full audit of the existing account — campaign structure, keywords, bids, audiences, and conversion tracking — with a prioritized remediation plan delivered in the first two weeks
- Rebuilding Search campaigns with proper match type strategy, tight ad group structure, and systematic negative keyword management
- Managing Google Shopping campaigns — feed optimization, bidding by margin and performance, and product segmentation
- Ensuring conversion tracking is accurate — working with Google Tag Manager to validate that reported conversions reflect what's actually happening
- Running structured A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies — documenting every test and iterating based on results
- Reporting weekly on spend, ROAS, CPA, and impression share — with specific interpretation and recommendations, not just numbers
Requirements
- 3+ years managing Google Ads with specific, demonstrable results — ROAS or CPA improvements you can speak to in detail
- Strong command of Google Tag Manager for conversion tracking setup and validation
- Experience managing Shopping campaigns including product feed optimization
- US timezone required for team collaboration
- Performance bonuses tied to ROAS and CPA targets
- Fluent English
