Job Description
Our product works — users like it, retention is solid — but our codebase has slowed us down. Features that should take a week are taking three. We need a developer who can both ship new functionality and pay down the technical debt that's accumulated underneath.
You'll work directly with the founding team, own full features from database to UI, and have real input on architecture decisions. Stack is Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Node.js.
- Build and ship product features across the full stack — API routes, server components, database queries
- Write clean TypeScript with proper types throughout
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries as the product scales
- Participate in architecture decisions and push back when something is being built wrong
- Review code from other contributors and maintain consistent quality standards
We work US hours with async standups and occasional live syncs. You should have 3+ years of production Next.js experience and be comfortable in a small team where ownership is real and output is visible.
