Front End Developer

We're building a platform that connects two distinct user types through user-generated content. We need a front end developer who can create intuitive, responsive interfaces that serve both audiences seamlessly while handling dynamic content at scale.

Your work will involve building and maintaining the user-facing application using Next.js and React. You'll develop features for content creation, submission, and discovery, implement real-time updates, optimize performance for large volumes of user-generated content, and ensure the platform works flawlessly across devices. You'll collaborate closely with our backend team on API integration, work with designers to translate mockups into polished interfaces, and make architectural decisions that impact how thousands of users interact with the platform daily.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of professional experience building production applications with React and Next.js specifically. You must be comfortable with modern React patterns including hooks, context, and state management libraries. You must have built platforms with multiple user roles and permissions, and worked with user-generated content systems such as feeds, comments, and uploads. Strong skills in responsive design and CSS-in-JS solutions are required. You must have experience integrating RESTful APIs, proficiency in TypeScript, and experience using Git in a team environment. You need to understand web performance optimization and SEO best practices for Next.js applications. A portfolio demonstrating your React and Next.js work is required.
