We are a high-growth direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand. Our products are sold globally, and our operations are scaling rapidly. We are seeking a strategic Financial Controller to own our financial integrity and provide the insights that guide our most critical business decisions. You will be the architect of our financial processes, transforming data into a roadmap for sustainable profitability.

Strategic Financial Leadership

You will oversee all aspects of our finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight.

• Own the month-end and year-end close processes, delivering timely and accurate P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to forecast performance, model scenarios, and manage cash flow, ensuring runway clarity.
• Implement and oversee robust internal controls over financial reporting, payroll, and procurement.
• Analyze key business metrics—customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), product margins, and marketing ROI—to identify opportunities and risks.
• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads and provide ongoing variance analysis.
• Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors, ensuring a smooth audit and tax compliance.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and reporting as we scale.

Required Experience & Profile

• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a Controller or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience within e-commerce, retail, or a fast-paced DTC company is highly preferred.
• Expert proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero) and advanced financial modeling in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS and experience managing the audit process.
• Strategic, analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across a remote team.
• Ability to work effectively during European business hours.
