Financial Analyst

The business has been growing faster than the financial infrastructure supporting it. Revenue is up, but decisions are being made based on outdated reports, incomplete cost data, and spreadsheet models built by someone who left 18 months ago. This role exists to fix that — and to build financial visibility that actually keeps pace with where the business is going.

We're looking for a Financial Analyst who can own the numbers end to end — modeling, reporting, budgeting, and the ad hoc analysis the leadership team relies on to make decisions. You'll work directly with the founders and ops team with a clear view across the full business.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining financial models — revenue forecasts, cost structure, unit economics, and scenario analysis
• Owning the monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting — clean, on time, and with clear variance commentary
• Tracking key business metrics by channel, product line, and customer segment — and making sure leadership understands what's driving changes
• Supporting annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast processes
• Answering ad hoc financial questions from ops, sales, and marketing — quickly and accurately
• Working with the bookkeeper and external accountant to ensure data is accurate and audit-ready

Requirements

• 3+ years of financial analysis experience — ideally in e-commerce, SaaS, or a growth-stage company
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling — you build models from scratch, not from templates
• Comfortable with ambiguity and imperfect data — you can produce useful analysis even when inputs aren't perfectly clean
• US timezone required for regular collaboration with the leadership team
• Fluent English — your reports need to be clear to non-finance stakeholders
