Job Description

We're a fast-growing performance marketing agency specializing in lead generation for remodeling and home improvement companies across the United States. We help contractors generate qualified homeowner leads and booked appointments through Meta Ads, high-converting funnels, GoHighLevel automations, tracking systems, and AI-powered lead follow-up.

We're looking for an experienced, highly capable Facebook Media Buyer and GoHighLevel Specialist who can take ownership of both campaign performance and technical execution. This is not a basic VA position. You should understand Meta Ads deeply, troubleshoot technical problems independently, know your performance metrics cold, and confidently manage multiple client accounts.

The Role

You'll launch, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot Meta advertising campaigns for our clients, and handle the GoHighLevel side too — funnels, automations, tracking, pixels, integrations, and lead-flow systems. Your job is to keep campaigns performing, tracking accurate, and leads flowing, and to catch and fix problems fast.

Meta Ads Management

  • Build and launch Facebook and Instagram campaigns in Meta Ads Manager
  • Manage campaign structure, targeting, budgets, placements, and optimization
  • Monitor campaigns daily and analyze CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL, conversion rates, and booking rates
  • Identify underperformers, make optimization decisions, and scale winners
  • Pause or restructure poor performers
  • Test new creatives, copy, audiences, and structures
  • Diagnose sudden CPL increases and performance drops
  • Manage multiple client ad accounts with clean, organized structures

Meta Tracking & Technical Setup

  • Install and troubleshoot Meta Pixels
  • Configure Events Manager, standard events, and custom conversions
  • Verify conversion tracking and resolve duplicate events
  • Work with browser-side Pixel tracking and the Conversion API
  • Diagnose attribution and tracking problems
  • Set up UTMs and confirm leads are attributed correctly
  • Troubleshoot domain, event, and integration issues

GoHighLevel

  • Build funnels and landing pages from templates, and create/manage forms
  • Build workflows and automations; configure calendars and pipeline stages
  • Manage triggers, tags, custom fields, and opportunity workflows
  • Troubleshoot broken automations
  • Make sure Facebook leads flow correctly into GoHighLevel
  • Connect forms, calendars, SMS, email, and other integrations
  • Set up and troubleshoot webhooks when needed

A2P & Integrations

  • Assist with A2P 10DLC registration
  • Set up phone numbers and messaging, and troubleshoot SMS issues
  • Handle number transfers when necessary
  • Work with Zapier, webhooks, APIs, and other integrations as needed

Reporting & Optimization

  • Review account performance daily and weekly
  • Spot trends and problems before they become serious
  • Prepare clear weekly performance summaries and join weekly performance meetings
  • Explain what's working, what isn't, and what should change
  • Create action plans from campaign data and execute them without constant supervision

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on Meta Ads experience
  • Experience managing lead generation campaigns
  • Strong experience with GoHighLevel
  • Strong understanding of Meta Ads Manager, Meta Pixel, and Events Manager
  • Experience with custom conversions; Conversion API understanding strongly preferred
  • Comfortable analyzing CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL, conversion rates, and booking rates
  • Comfortable troubleshooting tracking issues
  • Experience managing multiple ad accounts
  • Strong spoken and written English

You Should Be Able to Answer Questions Like

  • Why did CPL increase this week? Why is CTR dropping?
  • When should an ad be turned off? When should a winning campaign be scaled?
  • How would you structure a lead-generation campaign?
  • How would you troubleshoot a Pixel that isn't firing, or diagnose duplicate Meta events?
  • How would you confirm the Conversion API is working?
  • How would you troubleshoot leads not reaching GoHighLevel?
  • How would you determine whether the problem is the ad, funnel, offer, or sales process?

If you can't confidently answer questions like these, this role probably isn't the right fit.

How You Work

We want someone detail-oriented, organized, reliable, fast, proactive, and analytical — comfortable taking ownership, troubleshooting independently, following processes exactly, and making optimization decisions while asking questions when needed. We don't want someone who waits to be told every single thing. If something breaks, we expect you to investigate it, figure out what happened, and either fix it or clearly explain what needs to happen next. We're looking for someone who wants to stay long-term.

Nice to Have

Home improvement advertising experience (roofing, remodeling, windows, bathrooms, kitchens, HVAC, solar, or similar), plus Zapier, API/webhook, Canva, and AI automation experience. Experience with appointment-setting funnels and analyzing lead quality and booked-appointment rates is a plus.

Working Environment

Fully remote, full-time, long-term. Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours per week on EST, with overlap during US business hours. Occasional Saturday availability may be needed for urgent situations. You'll work directly with our team and carry significant responsibility over client campaign performance.

Compensation

Competitive monthly salary depending on experience and skill level, with performance bonuses based on account performance, reliability, client results, and overall contribution. There's significant room to grow financially as we continue scaling, and we're looking for someone who wants to stay for years, not months.

How to Apply

1. Video Introduction — Record a 2–5 minute Loom introducing yourself and covering: your name and location, how many years you've managed Meta Ads, your GoHighLevel experience, roughly how much Meta ad spend you've personally managed, the types of businesses you've advertised for, your best campaign result, one difficult Meta Ads problem you solved, one difficult GoHighLevel or tracking problem you solved, and why you're interested in this role.

2. Meta Ads Experience — Describe your typical campaign structure for local lead generation, how you decide when to pause an ad, how you decide when to scale, what metrics you review daily, and how you troubleshoot rising CPL.

3. Technical Question — Explain how you'd investigate and fix this: Facebook Ads Manager shows a certain number of leads, but GoHighLevel only received 17, and Events Manager appears to show duplicate Lead events.

4. Previous Work — If available, share screenshots of campaigns and results, GoHighLevel funnels and workflows, tracking setups, and automation examples. Please remove or blur any confidential client information.

5. Internet Speed — Run a test on —— and include your results.

Interview Process
