Email Newsletter Manager

Most newsletters die because no one is actually running them as an operation. The content creator writes when inspired, sends when they remember, and wonders why open rates are dropping.

We publish a weekly newsletter and need someone to own the non-writing side completely. The founder writes — you handle everything else: formatting, scheduling, list hygiene, segmentation, re-engagement sequences, and weekly performance reporting.

A typical week looks like this:

1. Receive the draft, format it correctly in Beehiiv, check all links and preview on mobile before it goes anywhere
2. Schedule the send based on historical open rate data
3. Monitor open rates, click rates, and unsubscribes in the 48 hours after each send
4. Flag anything unusual — big drops, spam complaints, broken links that slipped through
5. Manage the welcome sequence for new subscribers and clean inactive contacts monthly

You need to know your way around Beehiiv or ConvertKit and understand basic email deliverability — what hurts it and what helps it. Conversational English is fine. The role is async-friendly.
