We’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to fully own retention marketing for a fast-growing DTC home equipment brand.
This is not a “newsletter scheduler” role. You’ll be responsible for strategy, execution, testing, segmentation, automations, reporting, and revenue performance across email and lifecycle marketing.
You should understand how to turn traffic into repeat customers, increase LTV, improve retention, and build high-performing customer journeys. 2+ years of experience is a must.
What You’ll Own
- Full email marketing calendar and campaign execution
- Lifecycle flows from end to end:
- Welcome flows
- Browse abandonment
- Cart abandonment
- Post-purchase
- Cross-sell / upsell
- Winback
- VIP / loyalty
- Segmentation strategy based on customer behavior and purchase data
- A/B testing for subject lines, offers, creative, timing, and copy
- Revenue attribution and performance reporting
- Deliverability health and list hygiene
- Coordination with creative/content teams for assets and promotions
- SMS marketing strategy (bonus)
Required Skills
- Strong experience in DTC ecommerce email marketing
- Deep understanding of retention marketing and customer lifecycle
- Ability to independently build and optimize flows
- Strong copywriting for conversion-focused emails
- Experience analyzing campaign metrics and improving performance
- Understanding of ecommerce funnels, CAC, LTV, AOV, and retention KPIs
- Strong segmentation and personalization skills
- Ability to manage projects without micromanagement
