Job Description
We are a SaaS company building innovative AI tools for creators. Our users are a passionate community of early adopters who provide vital feedback. We are looking for the first dedicated moderator to nurture our online community spaces, foster positive discussions, and help users get the most value from our products.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact in our community forums and Discord server. Your daily tasks will include welcoming new members, answering basic product questions, and redirecting complex technical issues to the support team. You will actively encourage discussions by posting prompts, sharing updates, and recognizing top contributors. A key responsibility is to monitor conversations to ensure they remain respectful, on-topic, and aligned with our community guidelines, taking appropriate action when needed. You will also compile weekly summaries of community sentiment, trending topics, and frequent questions to share with the product and marketing teams.
We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience in community moderation, customer support, or social media management, ideally for a tech or SaaS product. You must be an excellent and empathetic written communicator who can engage diverse personalities. Familiarity with community platforms like Discord, Circle, or similar is required. You should have a basic understanding of AI tools and the creator economy. The ability to work independently, identify potential issues before they escalate, and maintain a consistent, welcoming online presence is crucial for this role.
