Job Description
We built an analytics platform that helps e-commerce brands make better decisions with their data. Our customers are Shopify and WooCommerce store owners doing $500K+ in annual revenue who are drowning in spreadsheets and want actual insights they can act on.
The product sells itself once people see a demo. The challenge is getting in front of the right people. That is where you come in.
We need an SDR who can fill our pipeline with qualified meetings. You will be doing cold outbound - email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, building prospect lists, and booking demos for our account executives. This is a pure hunter role. If you love the thrill of turning cold contacts into interested prospects, you will do well here.
THE MONEY
Base: $400/month
Performance bonuses on top when you hit targets:
→ Bonus for every qualified meeting booked
→ Bonus when those meetings convert to trials
→ Bonus when trials convert to paying customers
Top performers in this role can double their base compensation through bonuses. We pay for results.
WHAT YOU WILL DO DAILY
Prospecting: Build targeted lists of e-commerce store owners who fit our ICP. Research companies, find decision-makers, gather contact info. You are hunting for stores doing $500K-$5M annually that are ready to invest in analytics.
Cold email campaigns: Write and launch email sequences that get responses. A/B test subject lines, personalize at scale, follow up persistently without being annoying. Track open rates and reply rates religiously.
LinkedIn outreach: Use Sales Navigator to connect with prospects. Send connection requests with personalized notes. Engage with their content. Start conversations that lead to demos.
Qualify leads: When prospects respond, you vet them. Do they have the budget? Are they the decision-maker? Do they have an actual problem we solve? Only qualified opportunities get passed to AEs.
CRM hygiene: Log everything in HubSpot. Every email sent, every response received, every call made. Our pipeline data needs to be clean because we make decisions based on it.
Iterate and improve: Test new messaging angles. Try different outreach channels. Share what is working with the team. This is not a set-it-and-forget-it role - you are constantly optimizing.
WHO SUCCEEDS IN THIS ROLE
You have done B2B sales development before, ideally for a SaaS company. You know what good outreach looks like and what gets ignored.
You are comfortable with rejection. Most cold emails get no response. Most LinkedIn messages get ignored. You do not take it personally - you just send the next one.
You are motivated by performance incentives. You like knowing that your effort directly translates to earnings.
You can write. Your cold emails are concise, relevant, and actually get opened. You understand how to personalize at scale.
You know HubSpot or have used a similar CRM extensively. You understand pipeline stages, lead scoring, and how to keep data organized.
You are self-directed. We will give you targets and tools, but you figure out how to hit the numbers without constant oversight.
Bonus if you understand e-commerce or have sold to online store owners before. The better you understand their world, the better your outreach will perform.
