Job Description

Cloud Bookkeeper & Expense Manager

We are seeking a meticulous, remote Bookkeeper to take full ownership of our daily financial records and month-end closing processes. This is a high-responsibility role for an accounting professional who ensures that every dollar is tracked, categorized, and reconciled with 100% accuracy.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Daily Ledger Management: Record all transactions and categorize expenses across multiple entities in QuickBooks Online.
  • Reconciliation: Perform weekly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure the digital books match real-world statements.
  • Accounts Payable: Manage the contractor payment cycle, verifying invoices against approved milestones and processing payouts on time.
  • Document Control: Use Dext to collect, audit, and attach receipts to every transaction for tax compliance.
  • Reporting: Generate and deliver accurate monthly P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports by the 5th of each month.

Requirements: You must have at least 3 years of experience in cloud accounting for digital-native companies. Deep knowledge of GAAP and experience handling multi-currency transactions is preferred. We require a professional who identifies discrepancies proactively rather than waiting for management to find them.

Trial: Finalists will be required to complete a 60-minute paid reconciliation test to demonstrate technical proficiency.
