Canva & Social Media Content Assistant

About the Company

We're a dance and fitness studio offering beginner-friendly dance fitness, strength, step, sculpt, and specialty classes. Our brand is energetic, welcoming, clean, modern, and community-focused. We need a creative, dependable content assistant to help us produce and organize social media content. This role is focused on content creation and social media support only.

Responsibilities

• Design Canva graphics for Instagram, Facebook, and Stories, including class promotions, instructor features, events, specials, and announcements.
• Turn existing photos and video footage into posts, Stories, and Reels.
• Edit short-form video with text overlays, captions, transitions, and music.
• Create weekly class schedule graphics and promotional content for instructors and class formats.
• Repurpose existing content into multiple posts, Stories, Reels, or graphics.
• Keep fonts, colors, logos, and spacing consistent with brand guidelines.
• Organize upcoming content so posts are prepared in advance.
• Occasionally create flyers, digital signs, email graphics, or other Canva materials.

Requirements

• Strong Canva skills and a clean, modern design style.
• Experience creating content for Instagram and Facebook.
• Understanding of Reels and short-form content.
• Ability to follow an established brand rather than redesign it.
• Close attention to spelling, dates, class times, and names.
• Clear communication, reliable deadlines, and openness to feedback and revisions.
• Ability to work independently once the assignment is clear.
