Bookkeeper & Financial Controller

We're an e-commerce business using Xero as our accounting platform and we need someone to own our books cleanly and consistently. This isn't a data-entry role — we need a bookkeeper who understands what the numbers mean and can flag issues before they become problems.

1. Maintain accurate books in Xero — categorize transactions, reconcile accounts, and keep everything current on a weekly basis
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including following up on overdue invoices
3. Run monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and walk the team through key variances
4. Process payroll and ensure contractor payments are logged correctly
5. Prepare clean records for the external accountant at tax time

You should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Xero — not just familiarity with it. Experience with e-commerce financial flows (Amazon settlements, Shopify payouts, refunds) is a strong plus. English fluency required.
