Job Description
A US-based ecommerce business is seeking an experienced Amazon FBA Virtual Assistant to support both marketplace operations and internal software testing. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently while maintaining detailed records and consistent processes.
This role combines operational support for an Amazon Seller Central account with structured software testing and feedback responsibilities. We're looking for someone who values accuracy, follows procedures carefully, and takes ownership of their work.
Amazon FBA Operations
You'll be responsible for helping manage the day-to-day activities of an Amazon FBA business, including monitoring account activity, maintaining listings, coordinating inventory-related tasks, and supporting supplier communication.
Responsibilities may include:
- Managing and maintaining Amazon Seller Central operations
- Conducting product and keyword research
- Monitoring inventory levels, shipments, and stock availability
- Tracking orders and resolving operational issues
- Maintaining listing accuracy and account organization
- Coordinating with suppliers and service providers when needed
- Keeping detailed records of actions, decisions, and outcomes
This position places greater emphasis on operational execution and account management than on sourcing products.
Software Testing & Feedback
In addition to marketplace operations, you'll help evaluate internal software tools by testing features and documenting your findings.
This includes:
- Following testing instructions and workflows
- Identifying bugs, errors, and usability issues
- Providing structured written feedback
- Documenting confusing processes or unexpected behavior
- Helping improve software through clear observations and reporting
Required Experience
Candidates must have hands-on experience with Amazon FBA and Amazon Seller Central, either through their own business or by managing accounts for clients.
You should also have experience using Amazon research and analytics tools such as:
- Helium 10
- Jungle Scout
- Keepa
- Similar Amazon product research platforms
Strong written English, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to follow documented processes are essential for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:
- Product sourcing and product launches
- Competitive product analysis
- Writing process documentation
- Quality assurance or software testing
- Structured reporting and feedback
What We're Looking For
This is a role for someone dependable rather than someone simply working fast. We value consistency, follow-through, careful record-keeping, and sound judgment.
You should be comfortable working independently, managing responsibilities without constant supervision, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy across both operational and testing tasks.
Application Process
Qualified candidates may be invited to complete a paid practical assessment designed to evaluate Amazon research and decision-making skills. The assessment will focus on your personal judgment, analytical thinking, and practical experience working within the Amazon FBA ecosystem.
When applying, please include a summary of your Amazon FBA experience, the tools you've used, and a brief explanation of how you evaluate product opportunities within competitive marketplaces.
