Job Description
About the Role
Great advertising helps a brand grow revenue, protect its margin, and stay in control of growth. That takes more than adjusting bids. It means understanding how campaign structure, organic visibility, conversion, and product priorities influence one another.
We're a Dutch marketplace specialist that manages Amazon growth for established brands across Europe and other international markets. We're looking for an experienced Amazon Advertising Specialist based in the Philippines to work remotely with our advertising team and Marketplace Managers in the Netherlands.
What You'll Do
You'll take ownership of advertising performance across several international brand accounts. Some need a stronger campaign structure, others better budget allocation or tighter profit control. You'll assess the situation, decide what needs attention, and act on it.
- Create and manage Amazon Ads campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
- Build campaign structures around products, markets, and commercial goals.
- Research search terms, keywords, categories, and product targets.
- Set and adjust budgets and bids.
- Review branded and non-branded performance.
- Allocate spend across products, campaigns, and marketplaces.
- Analyze ACoS, TACoS, CVR, sales, and margin.
- Find wasted spend and missed growth opportunities.
- Prepare clear performance updates.
- Recommend and implement improvements, and explain your decisions to Marketplace Managers and clients.
Amazon is the main focus. Bol Ads experience is useful but not required.
How You Think
A lower ACoS isn't always better, and more ad sales don't automatically mean more profit. You look at what advertising contributes to the wider marketplace business: sales, margin, organic visibility, and product growth. You can tell when a campaign deserves more budget and when spend should move to another product or marketplace.
What We're Looking For
You've managed Amazon Ads accounts independently and can explain what you changed, why, and what happened as a result. You should:
- Understand Amazon Ads campaign structures and targeting options.
- Work confidently with advertising and sales data.
- Manage several accounts without losing track of priorities.
- Spot patterns and unusual results, and turn analysis into a clear next step.
- Test ideas and review their impact.
- Communicate clearly in English and explain recommendations in a practical way.
- Take responsibility for the accuracy of your work.
- Raise problems early instead of waiting for instructions.
You don't need experience in every Amazon marketplace, but you do need enough Amazon Ads experience to make sound decisions without daily guidance. Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and advertising automation tools is a plus.
Technology and AI
We already use automation for campaign management, analysis, and reporting, which frees you to focus on decisions that need commercial judgment. You should understand what the tools are doing, and investigate and step in when the output doesn't make sense. We also use AI to improve analyses, reporting, and internal processes. No technical background is needed, but we expect you to explore new ways of working and share what works with the team.
How We Work
You'll be part of a specialist team. Marketplace Managers set the wider direction for each client, and you bring the advertising expertise, alongside specialists in content, design, operations, and data. That context matters, because advertising performs better when the listing converts, the product holds the Buy Box, and stock is available. Communication is open and direct: if a strategy isn't working, you say so, and if you see an opportunity, you explain it and take the next step.
What You Can Expect
- Work across different brands, product categories, and international Amazon marketplaces.
- Clear responsibilities and regular contact with the team.
- Room to improve how we work, with your role growing as your knowledge and ownership do.
- Working hours and compensation based on your experience and availability, discussed openly during the application process.
