Primary responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on target companies and sectors using primary sources, financial databases, and AI-powered research tools.
• Utilize advanced AI (like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and custom agents) to summarize lengthy reports, extract key data points, and generate initial drafts of findings.
• Clean, organize, and analyze data sets in spreadsheets to identify patterns, prepare charts, and support data visualization.
• Compile research into well-structured memos, presentations, and dashboards for internal review and client delivery.
• Monitor news and industry publications for relevant updates that could impact ongoing research projects.
• Verify the accuracy of AI-generated content and data against credible sources, maintaining our high standard of reliability.

Required qualifications

• Proven experience (2+ years) in a research, business intelligence, or financial analysis role, preferably within consulting, market research, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) professionally to accelerate research and drafting tasks.
• Advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis using Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with basic data visualization principles.
• Exceptional ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, concise, and well-organized written summaries.
• A meticulous eye for detail and a strong sense of skepticism to validate information and ensure factual accuracy.
• Self-directed work ethic with the ability to manage multiple research threads and deadlines effectively in a remote setting.
