Job Description

We’re hiring someone to handle follow-ups on unpaid B2B invoices and keep receivables under control. This is not just sending reminders—you’ll be working through outstanding balances, chasing responses, and keeping payment timelines moving.

You’ll be dealing with companies operating on net terms (Net 15/30/60), so delays, partial payments, and back-and-forth are part of the job. The role requires consistency and comfort handling ongoing follow-ups without dropping accounts.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Follow up with clients on overdue invoices (email + calls)
  • Track aging reports and monitor outstanding balances
  • Work through payment delays, approvals, and internal client processes
  • Set up and manage payment plans when needed
  • Coordinate with clients’ finance/AP departments
  • Update payment statuses and notes in accounting systems
  • Flag disputes or issues that are blocking payment

Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B billing or collections (handling net terms, not one-off invoices)
  • Comfortable communicating with finance teams and decision-makers
  • Experience using accounting tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
  • Ability to stay organized across multiple accounts and follow-ups
  • Persistent without being aggressive—able to keep pressure without damaging relationships

Context:
You’ll be working with multiple client accounts at once, each at different stages of payment. The goal is simple: reduce outstanding balances and keep cash flow predictable.
