Job Description

This company is looking for a website professional who can take ownership of two brands that have outgrown Wix and need a more polished, strategic online presence. The role goes far beyond making edits or updating pages. They want someone who can evaluate the current websites, recommend better platforms, improve SEO, and help turn both sites into business-generating assets.

The first brand, Saint Elm, is a custom cabinetry and millwork company. Their website needs to function as a luxury portfolio that showcases craftsmanship, completed projects, and design expertise while generating inquiries from homeowners, contractors, designers, and commercial clients. The focus is on premium presentation, visual storytelling, and lead generation.

HelloSaskas has a completely different objective. As a vacation rental management company, the website needs to support direct guest bookings while simultaneously attracting property owners interested in management services. The successful candidate should understand how to balance these two audiences and create clear paths for both bookings and owner inquiries.

Rather than simply asking for WordPress skills, the company is looking for someone who can justify platform recommendations. WordPress is mentioned as a likely direction, but they're open to Webflow or other solutions if the developer can explain the advantages and long-term benefits.

The role combines website development with ongoing digital growth responsibilities. That includes improving site speed, mobile usability, SEO foundations, conversion paths, analytics tracking, booking functionality, portfolio presentation, and overall user experience.

Experience with hospitality websites, direct booking systems, luxury service businesses, real estate, construction, architecture, or design-focused brands would be particularly relevant because both businesses rely heavily on trust, presentation, and lead generation.

The strongest applicants will probably have experience with:

• WordPress or Webflow development

• SEO implementation and local SEO

• Google Analytics and Search Console

• Portfolio-style websites

• Direct booking integrations

• Conversion-focused website design

• Ongoing website management and maintenance

What stands out is that they specifically reject "basic Wix editors." They're looking for a strategist who can assess two different business models, recommend the right technology stack, improve search visibility, and build websites that generate measurable business results.

This is essentially a Website Manager + Web Developer + SEO Specialist role packaged into one position, with a strong emphasis on luxury web design, lead generation, and long-term website ownership.
