Job Description

A performance marketing company is looking for a full-time remote Video Editor to own creative production for paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

This role goes beyond basic editing. The company wants someone who understands direct-response advertising, viewer psychology, retention, and storytelling—someone who can turn raw footage into ad creatives that generate engagement and conversions.

You'll be responsible for reviewing large amounts of content, identifying winning hooks and story angles, and producing a variety of performance-focused creatives including UGC ads, testimonials, mashups, B-roll videos, TikTok-style content, Reels, and social media ads.

Expected output is approximately 8–10 original edited videos per week, along with hook variations, creative iterations, different aspect ratios, and testing assets for paid campaigns.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of experience editing ads for DTC ecommerce brands, performance marketing teams, or creative agencies. Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ad formats is essential.

Technical requirements include advanced editing skills, motion graphics, animated text, sound design, subtitles, product callouts, visual effects, and proficiency with tools such as After Effects. Experience creating fast-paced, retention-focused creatives that keep viewers watching and drive action is highly valued.

The company is also looking for someone who stays current with Meta and TikTok creative trends, understands what makes ads perform, and can proactively suggest new concepts, hooks, and creative testing ideas rather than simply following instructions.

Experience with AI-powered creative workflows, AI UGC platforms, video generation tools, Higgsfield, and creative automation software is a plus.

This position is best suited for a self-directed editor who can balance speed with quality, manage multiple projects independently, maintain organized asset libraries, and consistently deliver performance-focused creative work with minimal supervision.
