Social media coordinator

We are a specialized digital marketing agency focused on helping restaurants and boutique hotels connect with their guests. We manage the online presence for a curated portfolio of clients. We are looking for a social media coordinator to join our remote team. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the day-to-day social media activities across multiple client accounts, ensuring consistent, on-brand content is published and engaged with.

In this role, you will work from a pre-approved content calendar to schedule posts for clients across platforms like Instagram and Facebook. You will use tools like Canva to create visually appealing graphics that match brand guidelines. You will monitor comments and direct messages, responding in a timely and professional manner or escalating when needed. A key part of the job is to compile basic performance reports each week, tracking metrics like engagement and follower growth to share with the account manager. You will also participate in weekly team meetings to discuss content ideas and client feedback.

We are looking for someone with at least one year of hands-on experience managing social media accounts, either for a business or as part of an agency. You must be proficient with social media management platforms like Hootsuite or Buffer for scheduling. Strong visual skills and experience with graphic design tools like Canva are essential to create simple, effective assets. You need to be highly organized to manage multiple client calendars and deadlines without confusion. Excellent written English is required for crafting captions and interacting with audiences. An understanding of what performs well in the food and travel sectors is a strong advantage.
