We are seeking a highly skilled Media Planner & Media Buyer to lead end-to-end media strategy, planning, and execution across digital and traditional channels. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the U.S. media landscape, hands-on experience with major ad platforms, and the ability to translate business objectives into high-performing, data-driven campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Research
- Translate client business goals into comprehensive media strategies and plans
- Conduct in-depth research on target demographics, consumer behavior, and market trends
- Develop insights tailored to the client’s product, service, and industry positioning
2. End-to-End Execution
- Build and execute full-funnel media strategies across digital and traditional channels
- Provide expert marketing consultation on media mix and campaign optimization
- Negotiate with media vendors, publishers, and influencers to secure optimal rates and placements
3. Platform Management
- Set up and manage campaigns across social and programmatic platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, DSPs)
- Hands-on management of DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, StackAdapt, or similar platforms
- Maintain daily coordination with media partners, reps, and publishers for smooth execution
4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and performance against KPIs and budgets
- Optimize campaigns in real-time based on performance data and insights
- Ensure all campaigns are tracking accurately using third-party and analytics tools
5. Client Communication & Agility
- Act as the primary point of contact for all media-related updates and requests
- Handle mid-campaign adjustments, budget reallocations, and strategic pivots
- Provide real-time market insights and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
6. Reporting & Deliverables
- Weekly Reports: Performance summaries delivered every Friday
- Quarterly Reports: Deep-dive analysis including ROI, insights, and strategic recommendations
- Lead weekly internal and client meetings, including quarterly business reviews
Qualifications
Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in media planning and buying (agency experience preferred)
Market Expertise
- Strong understanding of the U.S. media landscape, including national trends and local market nuances (especially LA market exposure is a plus)
Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in:
- Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads
- DSP platforms (The Trade Desk, DV360, StackAdapt, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of ad tech ecosystem and full-funnel digital media strategy
- Experience integrating traditional media (OOH, Print, Radio) with digital campaigns
- Proficiency in GA4 and third-party tracking/analytics tools
Data & Strategy
- Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights
- Data-driven decision-making mindset with strong analytical capabilities
Soft Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Confident in presenting strategies and performance reports to stakeholders
Language
- Native or business-level English required
- Bilingual in Japanese or Spanish is a strong plus
