Job Description
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to work directly with the founder of a fast-growing startup. This is not a typical 9-to-5 admin role. You will be embedded in the day-to-day operations of a business that moves quickly and expects you to keep up.
What You Will Do
You will manage the founder's calendar. Not just scheduling calls, but understanding what matters and what can wait. You will protect their time so they can focus on the work that actually moves the business forward.
You will handle email. Not just forwarding messages, but responding to the ones you can handle and flagging the ones that need attention. You will learn what the founder cares about and start making decisions without being told.
You will coordinate with the team. Make sure meetings happen. Make sure action items get followed up on. Make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
You will take on projects. Sometimes research. Sometimes organizing data. Sometimes reaching out to people. Sometimes things that do not have a clear name yet but just need to get done.
What You Need
You have done this before. You have supported someone busy and learned how to stay ahead of them instead of behind them.
You write well. Clear. Professional. No typos.
You are organized. You have a system and you stick to it.
You are proactive. You do not wait for instructions. You see what needs doing and you do it.
You are comfortable with ambiguity. Startups change fast. What you do Monday might be different by Friday. That does not throw you off.
