Job Description

We're looking for an experienced E-Commerce Operations Manager to take ownership of the daily operations of a growing DTC skincare brand serving customers across the United States.

This role sits at the center of the business and works closely with leadership, marketing, suppliers, fulfillment partners, and customer support to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Own

Shopify & Store Operations

  • Manage day-to-day Shopify store operations
  • Maintain product listings, pricing, promotions, and website content
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on launches and campaigns
  • Ensure site accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and workflows

Inventory & Fulfillment

  • Monitor inventory levels and prevent stock shortages
  • Coordinate replenishment schedules with suppliers
  • Work closely with fulfillment and 3PL partners
  • Track shipments and resolve fulfillment issues
  • Support inventory forecasting and planning

Customer Experience

  • Oversee customer support performance and service quality
  • Monitor returns, exchanges, and customer concerns
  • Improve customer service processes and response times
  • Track customer satisfaction metrics and identify improvement opportunities

Vendor Management

  • Maintain relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers
  • Coordinate inventory deliveries and product launch timelines
  • Evaluate potential vendors and operational partners
  • Support negotiations and operational planning

Reporting & Business Support

  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports
  • Track key business metrics across sales, inventory, and customer service
  • Provide recommendations based on operational data
  • Document SOPs and improve internal processes
  • Support leadership with operational projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • 3+ years of e-commerce operations experience
  • Strong Shopify experience
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Available during U.S. Eastern business hours
