We’re looking for someone to take ownership of our payment dispute and chargeback operations. In this role, you’ll manage the entire dispute workflow — collecting evidence, preparing responses, submitting cases, and tracking results. You’ll also work closely with our operations team to identify why disputes happen and help reduce them over time.
Responsibilities
- Handle chargebacks, payment disputes, and fraud alerts across all payment providers.
- Prepare and submit strong representment cases using order information, delivery confirmation, customer communication history, and company policies.
- Track dispute metrics and outcomes to identify trends and areas for operational improvement.
- Work with fulfillment and customer support teams to obtain necessary documentation quickly.
- Help maintain a healthy chargeback ratio to safeguard our merchant processing accounts.
- Keep up with current card network policies (Visa, Mastercard) and the dispute procedures used by payment platforms.
Qualifications
- Prior experience managing chargebacks and disputes within an e-commerce environment (dropshipping experience preferred).
- Practical experience using Shopify, including order data review and dispute management tools.
- Strong English communication skills, particularly for writing clear and professional dispute responses.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision.
