Job Description

About the Role We sell to Amazon directly as a wholesale vendor and need a Vendor Central Specialist to manage that relationship. This is distinct from Seller Central/third-party selling — you'll be working within Amazon's 1P vendor system, handling purchase orders, chargebacks, and the vendor-specific operational side of the account.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage incoming purchase orders (POs) from Amazon
  • Monitor PO fill rates and address issues causing shortages or rejections
  • Review and dispute vendor chargebacks (shipping, compliance, pricing discrepancies, etc.)
  • Manage vendor scorecards and work to improve key performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate product content, pricing, and catalog data within Vendor Central
  • Coordinate with logistics/fulfillment teams to ensure on-time shipments and compliance with Amazon's routing requirements
  • Monitor co-op fees, deductions, and invoicing discrepancies
  • Communicate with Amazon vendor managers on account issues, promotions, or negotiations
  • Track sell-through and inventory data to help forecast future PO volume

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing an Amazon Vendor Central account specifically
  • Strong understanding of the PO lifecycle, chargeback disputes, and vendor scorecards
  • Familiarity with Amazon's routing, shipping, and compliance requirements for vendors
  • Comfortable working with deduction/invoice discrepancies and financial reconciliation
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Experience communicating directly with Amazon vendor managers is a plus
