Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, proactive, and exceptionally organized Virtual Assistant to be the front line of our short-term rental business. Your primary mission will be to deliver 5-star guest care while supporting the smooth operation of our properties. This is a guest-facing role where your communication skills directly impact our success and reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all guest communication on platforms like Airbnb and VRBO, managing inquiries from booking to post-stay.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and warm responses to guest questions, issues, and requests, using established templates and SOPs.
  • Coordinate and manage our cleaning and inspection teams to ensure perfect property turnover.
  • Handle basic troubleshooting for guests (e.g., WiFi, appliance instructions, parking) and know when to escalate urgent matters.
  • Assist with optimizing our rental listings and contribute to special projects like creating operational documentation or simple social media content.

What We Require:

  • Excellent written English – you can communicate clearly, politely, and effectively.
  • A genuine guest-focused mindset; you stay calm and solution-oriented, even when handling problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and conversations.
  • Familiarity with the short-term rental space or hospitality; experience with Airbnb/VRBO inbox or tools like Hospitable or Guesty is a strong advantage.
  • Reliability, with stable internet and availability to cover assigned hours, which may include some weekends or holidays (flexible schedule).

It would be a great bonus if you have:

  • Experience with other rental management software (PriceLabs, Breezeway, Turno).
  • Basic design skills to create simple ads or graphics in Canva.
  • Experience in managing social media or basic CRM tasks.
