AI Video Creator & Content Producer

We are a history YouTube channel dedicated to telling compelling, well-researched stories from the past. We blend archival footage, narration, motion graphics, and modern editing techniques to make history accessible and engaging. We’re expanding our content workflow and looking for an AI-savvy video creator to help bring visual narratives to life.

Role Overview:
You will use a mix of AI video generation tools (such as Runway ML, Midjourney, HeyGen, Sora, Veo), traditional editing software, and historical source material to create high-quality, polished videos for YouTube. You will transform scripts and research into immersive visual stories—from scene creation to final polish.

What You’ll Do:

• Generate and edit AI video clips based on historical themes, events, and figures
• Blend AI-generated visuals with archival footage, maps, motion graphics, and narrator voiceover
• Create scene-by-scene visual storyboards from written scripts
• Color grade, correct pacing, and ensure visual consistency across videos
• Design thumbnails, titles, and on-screen text using Canva or Photoshop
• Collaborate with scriptwriters and researchers to ensure historical accuracy in visuals
• Experiment with new AI video tools and techniques to improve quality and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrable experience creating video content with AI tools (please share portfolio/examples)
• Strong editing skills (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
• Good understanding of historical visuals, clothing, architecture, and tone
• Ability to match the style of documentary/educational content
• Attention to detail, especially with chronology and visual authenticity
• Ability to follow a narrative script and produce scenes that support storytelling
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup

Nice-to-Haves:

• Background or interest in history, film, or digital media
• Experience with motion graphics (After Effects) or 3D animation
• Familiarity with voiceover syncing and sound design
• Previous work for a YouTube channel in the education/documentary niche
