Job Description

Practice Leadership in Virtual Care

We are a rapidly scaling multi-state telehealth provider committed to delivering accessible, high-quality care. We are seeking an experienced Telemedicine Practice Manager to oversee the daily clinical operations of our virtual practice. Your leadership will ensure our providers can focus on patient care while you optimize workflows, compliance, and the overall patient experience.

Core Operational Responsibilities

  • Clinical Operations Management: Oversee the daily schedule of telehealth providers, manage patient flow, and ensure efficient use of the virtual platform to maximize patient access and provider capacity.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and state-specific telehealth laws. Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols for patient interactions and documentation.
  • Provider & Staff Coordination: Act as the main administrative point of contact for our network of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff (e.g., coordinators, billers). Facilitate onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing support.
  • Patient Experience Oversight: Monitor key metrics related to patient satisfaction, wait times, and technical issues. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the end-to-end patient journey.
  • Vendor & Platform Liaison: Work closely with our telehealth software vendor to troubleshoot issues, request enhancements, and ensure the platform meets clinical and operational needs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare practice management, medical office administration, or a similar operational role. Direct experience in a telehealth setting is highly preferred.
  • In-depth, practical knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements as they apply to digital health platforms and remote patient interactions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules, optimize workflows, and lead a distributed, remote clinical team.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data (e.g., appointment volume, patient feedback) to drive operational decisions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate challenges between clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred.

Why Join Our Practice?

This is a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of healthcare and technology. You will have a direct impact on shaping how modern, patient-centered virtual care is delivered at scale, improving access for thousands of patients.
